Use your library card to check out materials at the Circulation desk.
Standard checkout limits are a total of 20 items per card to include up to 5 DVDs. Patrons under 18 must have permission from their responsible party. Fines are $.10 per day, per book and $1.00 per day for DVDs.
The library offers e-book and e-audiobook checkout through Camellia.net and e-audiobooks through OneClick Digital. If you experience problems logging in please check your account to make sure your card has not expired, settle any fines or renew books that are overdue. This should take care of most problems patrons have checking out electronic books and audiobooks.
Please visit the circulation desk to receive a PIN number for your online account. You can access your library patron account through our catalog website by clicking here. Click the LOG ON button in the top right corner. Enter your library card barcode number located on the back of your card without the spaces and your PIN number.
Reserves will show any books you have placed on hold.
Items Out shows what library materials you have checked out and allows you to renew items that have renewals remaining.
Fines lists any fines you owe on your account. You have the option to pay your fines online.
Account will allow you to set up notifications from the library.
Interests allows you to setup a Watchlist of favorite authors. You will be notified when a new book by this author is available at the library.
History shows items you have previously checked out.
Books may be renewed twice for an additional two weeks per renewal. DVDs may be renewed once for an additional week. Items with a patron hold cannot be renewed.
To renew online, click here to log into your library account on our catalog website. Once you’re logged in, choose the Items Out tab. Click the box next to the item(s) you wish to renew. Then click the Renew button in the top right hand corner. To renew items by phone, please call Bradshaw Library at 334-768-2161 or the LaFayette Library at 334-864-0012.
If you find an item in our catalog but it’s checked out, you can place a hold on the item and be notified when it comes in.

If you would like the library to add a book to our collection, you can submit a patron request. There is no charge to request a book this way, but there is also no guarantee the book will be added to the collection.
There are three ways to request the item.
Online Request: From the library’s online catalog, click the Suggest button. Enter your library barcode number located on the back of your card with no spaces and your PIN number. Enter the information on the suggestion form. If we are able to acquire the item, you will be contacted when the item is ready for check-out.
Written Request: Stop by the circulation desk to fill out a request form for the item. You may also phone Bradshaw Library at 334-768-2161 or the LaFayette Library at 334-864-0012 to make a request. You must be a library card holder in good standing to request an item.
ILLs: Inter-Library Loans (ILLs) are a way to borrow a book from another library. The first two ILL requests per year are free. After two requests, the patron will be charged the postage to deliver and return the item. Please check with the library staff to complete an ILL request.

WiFi is available. The WiFi password is available at the circulation desk and is changed periodically.
